Who am I?
I trained as paediatrician and subsequently as a subspecialist medical geneticist at the University of Cape Town and affiliated hospitals. I do mainly clinical work, leading a small, but deeply committed, team of medical genetic doctors, genetic counselors and genetic nurses in providing all medical genetic services to patients and families across the lifespan. My interests include monogenic disorders in South Africa, the holistic care of children with genetic disorders within the South African and African context and the clinical utility of genetic testing.
