Hotel accommodation can be reserved in Durban through the intermediary of Turners Conferences who have secured preferred rates for participants. All rates quoted on the hotel booking form are in South African Rands and are per room and per night, breakfast, 15% VAT and 1% TOMSA Levy are included. Reservations

Booking Confirmation
All hotel reservations will be confirmed to you in writing with the name of the hotel, the type of accommodation booked, the arrival and departure dates, the rate, and the deposit required. This will be accompanied by an invoice and request for payment.
Group Booking
Group hotel accommodation can be reserved in Durban through the intermediary of Turners Conferences. Participating hotels including their respective rates can be found on the official accommodation page of the Congress website. All rates quoted are in South African Rands and are per room and per night, breakfast, 15% VAT and 1% TOMSA Levy are included. The hotel name including room category should be indicated on the group booking form.
For all group bookings (10 rooms or more), 50% deposit to be paid on receipt of first invoice, the outstanding 50% deposit to be settled thirty (30) days prior to the start of the Conference.

Payments
Full payment is required to confirm your reservation. Payment may be processed either by electronic bank transfer or by Master, Visa, American Express or Diners Club credit card. Full details appear on the booking form.
All incidentals charged to room account need to be settled prior to departure from hotel.
For all group bookings (10 rooms or more), 50% deposit to be paid on receipt of first invoice, the outstanding 50% deposit to be settled thirty (30) days prior to the start of the event.
Transportation
Turners can assist with booking a daily return shuttle. Please send email to Deveena Naicker: deveena@tcon.org.za. Alternate options are you can contact the hotel concierge desk ad request for a meter taxi or utilise Uber.
Terms & Condidtions
Cancellations must be submitted to Turners Conferences in writing. You may cancel your reservation up to 10th January 2025 with a full refund of your deposit paid less an administration fee of ZAR115.00.
Reservations cancelled after 10th January 2025 will attract the following cancellation penalties:
- 60 – 31 Days – 50% Cancellation fees apply
- 30 – 0 Days – 100% Cancellation fees apply
An amendment fee of ZAR115.00 applies to all changes made to confirmed reservations after 01st March 2025.
Should you reduce the length of your stay upon arrival at the hotel, the hotel will charge cancellation fees for the nights that you will no longer be using.
